RiverArts has partnered with the Irvington Theater Commission to present a select catalog of films from Emerging Pictures using cutting edge technology in an intimate and acoustically superb venue at the Irvington Town Hall Theater.
Two Ongoing Series:
Wed Evenings feature first-run independent, documentary, foreign and classic art house cinema.
Weekend Matinees offer Hi-def opera and ballet performed in Europe’s most famous venues by world renowned artists.
RiverArts brings together the talents of the theater community here in the Rivertowns for the community to enjoy. Expect an entertaining mix of one-man shows, ensembles and play debuts each year as part of our exciting Theater program.
Last year, RiverArts presented an encore performance of The Gas Station Project, Vicky Bugbee's laugh outloud, bitter sweet dramatic comedy and poignant portrayal of a nuclear family in turmoil.
Performed with a cast of only two actors, a man and woman take on the play’s multiple characters to tell the story of a suburban couple’s crumbling marriage. Performed last in 2007 at the Overseas Auto Body Shop in Hastings for a crowd of 150, it was reprised in 2008, in a new location by popular demand.
Stay tuned for our next Theater event!
