Annual Welcome Party & Membership Drive
Each year, the RiverArts (previously Rivertowns Arts Council) holds its annual welcome party and membership drive for new and current members and celebrates Art & Community in the Rivertowns.
Our last Membership Drive was held at the Landmark Octagon House on September 20th, 2008. The Octagon House is the only known residence in the world with eight sides and the dome and colonnade features of a classic Roman temple. Attendees enjoyed a tour of grounds and gardens of this whimsical Victorian residence. Joseph Pell Lombardi, preservationist, architect and owner, also gave a talk in the garden about his National Historic Landmark home. Please visit his website [here]
