SUMMER SESSION
This year, for the first time, we are pleased to offer a 5 week summer session. It will run from June 27 through July 29. For the summer session lessons are available in piano, strings, trumpet, guitar, percussion, and voice. All lessons will take place at Springhurst Elementary School in Dobbs Ferry.
You may pay for 3, 4, 5, or more lessons during this five week session.
Cost:
$32.00/30 minute lesson
$47.00/45 minute lesson
$61.00/60 minute lesson
$25.00/60 minute group lesson (when available.)

Pop-Funk-Jazz Ensemble
A special offering for this summer is the RiverArts Pop-Funk-Jazz Ensemble. This class will meet twice a week for one hour sessions for a total of eight sessions. Specific meeting times to be determined. The course will culminate with a performance at the Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Summer Concert Series. Music will include well-known pop, funk and jazz standard songs. Students will be guided and coached through various improvisatory techniques.

Space is limited and admission is by audition only, to ensure a balanced ensemble.
Auditions will be in June. Basic requirements for the ensemble are knowledge of major and minor scales, ability to read basic music notation, and basic knowledge of chord symbols
