The first step is an annual family registration fee. This fee is paid once per semester year per family in September or whenever a family joins the music program for the first time. (The fee is waived for families first joining the program for the Summer Session.) It covers some of the administrative costs associated with running the Music Program.
The second step is Membership. Your membership in RiverArts gives you access to the Music Program. Additional benefits include access to:
• Other educational programs
• Fall Welcome Party
• Discounted tickets to RiverArts events and special partner offers
• Pre-concert receptions, backstage tours and preferred seating
Many RiverArts events are free and memberships from people like you are what enable us to provide a diverse selection of programming throughout the year.
The $50.00 family membership is the required minimum level to access the Music Program for your whole family and is good for one calendar year. If you like our programming and you are in a financial position that allows, please consider a higher membership level.

We know that you have just made a significant investment in your child’s musical education. For some, this investment is a financial stretch of precious resources. For others in our communities, it is difficult to consider the gift of music lessons for their children. We have a scholarship fund to help people in this situation. Most scholarships are partial scholarships, which help to make music lessons a possibility. (If you need tuition assistance, click here to download a scholarship application.) The amount of scholarship money available in any particular year is based upon donations to the scholarship fund. If you are in a financial position to do so, would you consider helping to give the gift of private music lessons to someone who may not otherwise be able to afford it? All donations are tax deductible.
