Attendees were treated to the sounds of internationally acclaimed, Rivertowns-based musicians: Jay Azzolina, jazz guitarist; bassist, Harvie S; saxophonist, Tim Armacost; and drummer, Ron Vincent. They performed as a quartet and then discussed writing, improvisation and the art of collaboration.
None of the collaborated performances will be rehearsed beforehand, so the audience can gained insight into how musicians improvise, or jam, and ultimately produce something new and exciting.
